Praise Your Way Through by Iris Celeste is an excellent, highly recommended summer read! I picked it up last year and couldn’t put it down. The characters’ dialect is so southern, down to earth, realistic, and culturally based that I felt like I knew and understood each character. And I found the author’s ability to capture the true essence of our [African-American] people to be amazing!
