He is an academic and athletic All-American at Crenshaw High in Los Angeles. On top of that, he’s attractive, popular, and most of all madly in love with his beautiful girlfriend named Crystal Gayle. Until one horrific day, he catches Crystal in bed with another man and she breaks his heart. Right then, he vows never to fall in love again or give his heart to a woman.

Damien rescinds his baseball scholarship offer from USC and decides to attend the University of Miami instead. After a disappointing college baseball career, Damien’s best friend Mookie convinces him to relocate to Atlanta. Mookie schools Damien on the “starting five concept” and Damien never looks back. While in Atlanta, Damien is involved with a plethora of beautiful black women and never can seem to get enough. After many years, love eventually prevails. Damien finds himself trying to make the ultimate choice.

First, Crystal resurfaces when she relocates her medical practice from L.A. to Atlanta. She desperately wants to rekindle her love interest with Damien. Secondly, Diamond springs back into Damien’s life and has the ultimate surprise for him. Then there’s Nicole, who is married and miserable but wants Damien all to herself. She stops at nothing to accomplish this task. But Katrina, the sophisticated high profile corporate attorney, has other plans for Damien. She’s has everything in life, except a man, and now wants him as her “boy toy.” Finally, Tameka who is Diamond’s fake friend has a trick up her sleeve to combat them all.

Frederick Germaine has always been fascinated how writing could be so intriguing. It takes dedication and an imaginable thought process to capture an audience within a good novel. After writing leisurely for years, Frederick Germaine decided to pen his first novel. Ladies’ Man is an entertaining love novel from a male-perspective. He wrote the novel because he felt almost everyone has previously been in love, is currently in love or simply seeking love. Thus, we all can relate to it. After the release of Ladies’ Man, Frederick Germaine was featured in Xtra Magazine.

Besides being an author, Frederick Germaine is an advocate for mentorship programs. He currently serves as a mentor to the youth and young adults. Additionally, he is a motivational speaker compelling individuals to make the right “choices” in life.

Frederick Germaine graduated from Jacksonville State University where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business. He currently resides in Atlanta where he continues to write and promises to deliver another hot novel.

Osguards: Guardians of the Universe is a detailed space odyssey, framed in American History, peppered with intrigue, filled with adventure and coated with technical wizardry.

It is the third generation and the fourth age of mankind. Earth has become an unwitting pawn in the Kulusk Empire’s thirst for revenge, against the Universal Science, Security and Trade Associations of Planets—USSTAP. Maxum Ritchen, the leader of the Kulusk Empire, has set into motion the destruction of USSTAP and with it the destruction of Earth. Michael David Genesis, the First Osguard, and his family are the leaders of USSTAP. He and his family are descendants of twin princesses from the planet Chaktun who fled their war ravaged world, escaped to Earth and lived in the antebellum South as slaves. USSTAP is the Osguards’ inheritance. They facilitate scientific advancement, assure universal security and promote fair trade amongst the sixty known galaxies. Michael and the other Osguards use diplomatic, economic and military tools of power to keep the peace. But like most peacekeeping organizations, there are always challenges. For Michael the challenges are the Kulusk – the dogmatic empire that has waged war with Chaktun for centuries; the Tuits – a warrior race bent on revenge; and the Moslecks – universal nomads terrorizing the universe. Can the Osguards save USSTAP…can they save themselves?

Book Description
Romance novelist Taylor Beir will stop at nothing to get her mother off her back, including relocating to teach a little boy she’s never met how to read. But Christopher Doubleday doesn’t want to learn. Handsome older brother, Boyd, has an invisible stick up his backside. And she suspects sweet Mary and Jesse are trying transform her into the mythical “good girl” she’s never been; either by power of suggestion or bribing her with endless goodies from Mary’s kitchen.

Taylor may be down—and stuffed—but she’s not out. Someday the townspeople of Peddler’s Creek, West Virginia will realize their hostility is misplaced and recognize her for the gentle, misunderstood soul she really is. And they will admit that Taylor Beir truly is the best thing to ever happen to their tiny, dirt road, middle-of-nowhere, backwater town of Peddler’s Creek, West Virginia … if they know what’s good for them.

Is your America separate, but not equal?

Segregation of races can have a powerful impact that defeats the will to fight if you’re on the wrong side. But what if YOU had a chance to choose your race? Would you stay in your own skin, or choose the race with the best benefits?

In Crossing Color Lines, Chase Cain chooses which side to live on. After seeing the brutal hanging of his father as a child and having features and skin light enough to ‘pass’, Chase Cain decides to create his own fate: Leading the life of a white man. With just a small ‘white lie’, Chase gambles with his family, friends and love, while claiming wealth, fame and fortune. Not understanding the game or knowing the players, his choice becomes a living hell and his world begins to crumble. But, just as he attempts to rebuild his life, enemies from his past resurface to remind him that certain lines should never be crossed!

BOOK SYNOPSIS
Camille Blackwell, an undercover FBI agent, poses as a jewelry purchaser in an international diamond trading company in hopes of identifying the domestic players in a vicious rebel group suspected of trafficking conflict diamonds. The Bureau requests CIA renegade Marc Fulton’s assistance with sweeping international intelligence to identify the major rebel organizations with the finances and stateside connections strong enough to evade criminal prosecution, despite Camille’s objections.

Their attraction is instant and tense; both resolve to focus on the case. But when Camille receives an encrypted memory stick from a murdered co-worker Marc may be the only person she can trust.

Black Diamond is the eagerly anticipated debut novel by Ja’Nese Dixon. True love, like black diamonds, is rare and precious but when murder and a persistent criminal threaten a frail relationship, will love triumph?

Someone wants their perfect weapon back, only she’s not coming quietly.

Alexa Wells wants her life back. She’s just not sure what that life was. The memories inside her head—a stripper’s—aren’t hers, and before she humiliates herself onstage one more time, she sets out to collect the scattered pieces of her mind. The trail leads to Boston, charges of identity theft and murder, and the real bombshell: a forgotten werewolf lover who insists she’s a werewolf hybrid.

Matt York doesn’t care that she looks at him like he’s been smoking crack between court cases. Now that he has her back he’s not about to let her go it alone, even if she can easily kick ass and take names all by herself. Amnesia only scratches the surface of her problems, and like it or not, she’s stuck with him.

She’s also stuck with Robert Gamboldt, a venture capitalist who’s not above murdering his way to the top. He’s not about to lose his prize possession without playing dirty. It’s a simple enough offer. Be his personal assassin, or go to jail.

With options like that, it’s enough to make a hybrid go full-blood.

Lewis’ exciting Gospel Trilogy, Interruption: The Gospel According to Crystal Justine is a fascinating journey through the life of Crystal Justine (CJ), a young woman who has, for most of her life, been compared to her mother, Sasha Renee, in both the best and the worst ways. Even as she struggles to escape the image and legacy of this enigma of a woman, she finds herself unconsciously acting out her mother’s (and grandmother’s) past mistakes.

Her relationships with men, although few and far between, has been tainted by “the thing she cannot say” and her faith has been weakened by the emotional and spiritual blows her life has taken.

This dynamic story of deliverance keeps readers, page by page, on the edge of their proverbial seats, wondering if CJ will simply succumb to the darkness that has chased her soul for as long as she could remember or if she will be the one to finally put an end to the generational curse that has tried to consume her family. Ultimately, will she ever find true love, joy, and peace?

Book synopsis

Lead Homicide Detective Shevaughn Robinson has gone from the cop everyone, including herself, doubted to the “golden child” of the Portsborough Police Department with a record of sensational arrests and closed cases.

But when Helene Elliott is found dead from an apparent suicide, her family insists it was murder and pressures the Portsborough Police Department to take on the investigation. Detective Robinson is assigned to the case at a time when she is struggling to strike a balance between her personal and professional life following the death of Tony O’Brien, the love of her life. Elliott’s case awakens a complicated relationship with Terri Becker who harbors resentment towards Shevaughn for the death of Eric Becker, the serial killer dubbed Ace of Hearts.

Was the Elliott death a suicide or the work of a cold-blooded predator? Will life throw Shevaughn another unexpected blow? And will Shevaughn’s attempts to move forward inadvertently lead death to her front door yet again?

Black Jack is the sequel to Jean Holloway’s acclaimed debut novel, Ace of Hearts. Buckle up and follow Shevaughn as she moves closer to solving the Elliott murder, unknowingly rekindling old grudges and awakening a sinister spirit. Get ready, it’s going to be a bumpy ride.

Christian Fiction
$13.95

“Daddy’s not coming home again. Before I heard those words, we were the fabulous four from Ft. Knoxville, Mississippi. That’s what daddy use to call us. Now, we’re just three, not the fabulous three, just three: Momma, my older brother Mitch, and me. Or is it Mitch and I? Daddy would correct me, but he’s not coming home again. I’m Malena. I just turned eight yesterday so I don’t know a whole bunch of stuff yet. Except them telling me today, Daddy’s not coming home again.”

This begins the heart wrenching story of Malena Dawson a daddy’s girl, who internalizes the loss of her daddy but thrives on the love of God her parents instilled in her through out her youth. However, when Malena goes off to college she becomes someone she no longer recognizes, filling her mind with shallow misconceptions of life, love and success.

When Grant Carpenter, a young man from her childhood resurfaces in her life, Malena, battles with their age difference and still in denial concerning her daddy’s death, yo-yo’s between wanting and denying the love Grant has too offer until she finally pushes him away.

Especially when the devil is tap dancing on your doorstep!

What happens when a famous trial attorney and his even more famous gospel singer wife face the biggest test of their lives?

Matthew and Gloriana McCrae have been dubbed by a famous magazine, as one of the most beautiful couples in the world. They have it all: wealth, fame, respect and an unshakeable love for one another. Or do they?

…If He brings you to it, He’ll bring you through it!

That is what Gloriana has always believed. That is, until she must face her fear of losing her best friend and husband, to a woman who will stop at nothing to get what she wants. When Aston Montgomery sets her sights on something or someone, she usually gets it, by any means necessary. With a heart that has long been turned cold, is she willing to commit murder to get what she wants?

Pride. Greed. Envy. Wrath. Lust. With five of the seven deadly sins swirling around them, can love and the Word of God help this couple hold on to what matters most or will the devil, disguised as a beautiful woman, tear them apart?

Dee grew up in a dysfunctional household that by today’s standards would be considered completely ‘normal’. Trying to cope with life’s complexities, Dee contributes all of life’s changes to God’s will. Throughout the changes in her life, she resists the urge to disrupt the balance of things unless she really has to. On the other hand, there is AJ Madison who is a rambunctious, intelligent, and outgoing character who lives by her own standards and believes that you get what you give. Both, Dee and AJ grew-up trying to maneuver in systems created to breakdown the human spirit. Readers will find a familiarity in their struggles, their desires, and their will to overcome.

With no guidance as she became a woman, she sought solace and comfort in the arms of equally dysfunctional men. Low self-esteem propels her into a pattern of destructive relationships where she is both blessed and burdened by the birth of four children. The love she has for them becomes the blessing, providing the strength she needs not only to endure, but to overcome.

After trials and a series of mistakes, the light bulb finally comes on. She understands that being a victim as a child should not make her live life being victimized. It should make her a survivor. She learns she has two choices in life; she could either sink under the weight of despair, or she could swim to shore and start over.

She chooses to swim. She looks back to her past to understand the present, determined to break the cycles that threaten her and her children’s future.

Whatever she decides to do in life, she knows one thing is certain; understanding who she is and where she wants to be brings placidity that is unsurpassed by anything – including fairy tale images of love. Understanding is serene. It is calming and full of bliss. For the first time in her life, understanding is mellow.

After opening a wildly successful spa in Reno (which turned the world’s oldest profession on its head), Lydia Beaucoup and her friends Acey Allen and LaShaWanda P. Marshall decide to grow their business-with a new spa on a boat moored off the shore at Martha’s Vineyard. Just like their Reno operation, this haven for pampering is unique. In addition to massage and reflexology, clients can purchase fabulous, multiorgasmic safe sex from men trained to please women.

But selling sex is never easy. Insatiable clients, mob extortion, and a federal government that wants to ban sex between unmarried people are just a few of the problems that threaten to take down A Sister’s Spa on Martha’s Vineyard.

Smart, sizzling, and wickedly funny, Let’s Get It On is an outrageous tale of three women who push traditional envelopes in pursuit of empowerment, and a witty, forthright look at what women really want.

In the beginning, there was a drug dealer named Smoke, and Breanne Phillips was one of his most faithful customers. She was smoking crack cocaine to block out an existence she wanted to escape from. Smoke was just money-hungry enough to take her cash-and anything else she had to offer-in exchange for the magic rocks he had. It was a mutually satisfying arrangement, one he forgot about as soon as he got out of the game, dropped the nickname Smoke and started answering to the name Alec.

Fast forward sixteen years, and Breanne Phillips is back in his life. These days, she’s a businesswoman, who goes by the name of Anne. She’s dragging a sixteen-year-old hoodlum behind her, claiming Alec is the boy’s father and demanding that he straighten out their son. And as if dealing with an unwelcome ghost from his past isn’t enough, his son is mixed up in the kind of foolishness Alec is all too familiar with, which means he’ll have to step in and rearrange some things. A door opens, and Smoke is suddenly back on the scene, ready to put some heads to bed, including Anne’s. After that, he’ll deal with the son he never knew he had.
