Book Reviews Update – September 2012
*SPECIAL NOTE: In our almost 12 year history of reviewing books, we have completed over 7000 reviews for books from most of the major, small press and independent publishers. This service has been free during this time and it is our hope we will be able to continue our services in the future. If you have submitted your book already, either electronically or via regular mail, it is in the queue and will be reviewed in the order received OR featured on our site.
Thanks for your interest in submitting your book(s) for review. We now only review books published within the last 12 months in either print or electronic format; no manuscripts. Please DO NOT query us. If you send the book, we will do our best to review it OR feature it on the site. There is NO FEE for this service and reviews are posted directly to our book review site, www.blackbookreviews.net and also at Amazon.com.
We PREFER electronic versions (PDF or Word format) as they are quicker to process and quite a few of our reviewers have e-Readers. *We no longer accept manuscripts, effective 1/1/2011. If you want an advanced read of your book, submit it electronically.*
SUBMISSION PROCEDURES
- Fill out the form at the link below (and be sure to print a copy to mail with the book)

- Read the SPECIAL NOTES (which address most questions), but one update is that we will no longer review every book sent to us. Instead we will feature it on the site if it’s not reviewed. Unfortunately, we simply can’t keep up with the demand AND continue not to charge for the service, so this was our trade-off.
ELECTRONIC REVIEWS - If you are submitting your book electronically, after filling out the book review form, please email your book (in .pdf or .doc format) to e-reviews@rawsistaz.com with the subject line: ELECTRONIC REVIEW – Your Book Title by Your Name (Genre) / Example: ELECTRONIC REVIEW – My New Book by T. B. Author (Mystery).
PRINT REVIEWS - For those mailing books, send 2 copies of your book and a press kit (bio, book info, tour schedule, etc) or the printed book review form. (Media Mail is recommended as we only check mail two-three times a month.)
