Bestselling Author Earl Sewell has written four novels which include,
Through Thick and Thin, The Good Got To Suffer
With the Bad, The Flip Side of Money and his debut title
Taken for Granted, which was
originally published through his own company, Katie Books. His work has also
appeared in three separate anthologies, which include
Sistersgirls.com, After Hours: A Collection of
Erotic Writing by Black Men and
Whispers Between the Sheets. In 2005 he was nominated as Black Writer of the Year for his coming of age
novel, The Good Got To Suffer With the Bad. He recently
completed his fifth novel entitled, When
Push Comes to Shove which is scheduled for publication in November of
2006 through Harlequin Publishing.

DARRIEN
LEE
Darrien Lee is
originally from Columbia, TN, but now resides in LaVergne, Tennessee with her
husband of fifteen years and two young daughters.
Her first novel, All That and a Bag of Chips was published in 2001. The sequel,
Been There, Done That followed up in 2003 and Darrien’s third novel, What Goes
Around Comes Around was released in July 2004. Part four of Darrien’s series
titled When Hell Freezes Over was released in October 2005. Most recently Darrien released
Brotherly Love in July 2006 and her sixth novel,
Talk To The Hand was
released by Q’Boro Books in October 2006.

MCIVER
Joel is a lifelong reader and self-proclaimed TV junkie (despite the fact that
his parents told him that the television was an idiot box and would ruin his
imagination). In spite of countless hours in front of the tube, his love of
books along with his overactive imagination made the desire to express his
creative side too great to be ignored. After studying the art of writing and
learning as much as possible about the publishing industry, he sat down to write
his first novel, The
Price of Forever, and there, immersed in a sea of words,
characters, plots and ideas, he finally found his true passion.

Suzetta
M. Perkins is a native of Oakland, California, now residing in Fayetteville,
North Carolina. She is the proud mother of two grown children and one
granddaughter. She is Secretary of the University at Fayetteville State
University, which is also her alma mater. She has a Bachelor of Science degree
in Business Administration.
Suzetta is co-founder and President of the Sistahs Book Club, the author
of Behind
the Veil, and a contributing author of
My Soul to His Spirit, edited by
Melda Beaty. My Soul to
His Spirit was featured in the June 2005 edition of Ebony magazine
and winner of the 2006 Fresh Voices Award.

MEMPHIS VAUGHAN, JR.
Memphis Vaughan, Jr. was born in
Mobile, Alabama but spent his early years in Detroit, Michigan. After his family
made the reverse migration back to Mobile in the early 70's, he has lived there
since. Memphis attended Morehouse College and received a B.S. in Civil
Engineering from Georgia Tech. An avid reader, traveler and computer buff,
Memphis began to delve into writing fiction and short stories. Surfing the web
for a place to present his writing, but not finding an adequate site, he created
the TimBookTu web site as a place to showcase African-American poetry and
writing.

MINNIE DIX
Minnie
Dix was born in South Carolina and recently retired from the South Carolina
Department of Consumer Affairs.. She has always enjoyed writing but developed a
real love for writing while living in New York and working at Readers Digest.
Ms. Dix returned to South Carolina where she continues to write and assist in
taking care of her elderly parents.
Ms. Dix's first published project was a short story entitled, The Storm
Within. Her second body of work was a popular fictional novel, From My
Front Porch, followed by a book of short stories, Champagne & Chocolate
Kisses.

Elissa Gabrielle is a Publisher, Author, Poet, CEO and Visionary who is a
graduate of the Connecticut School of Broadcasting and also holds degrees in
Communications. Gabrielle is a member of the NAACP and NABFEME, the National
Association of Black Female Executives in Music and Entertainment, a
professional empowerment, networking and support base for African American women
in radio, recorded music, the media, and related entertainment industry fields.
