MARC LACEY Walter
Marcellus (aka “Marc”) Lacy is the second child and first son of three
children born to Walter and Julianne White Lacy. Alongside maintaining a
current residence in his birthplace of Huntsville,
Alabama, Marc has also resided in Korea and Germany.
Marc is most noted for his smooth flowing lyrics and creative mind which are
exuded in his eloquently written poetry. But also a beast is awoken within
as he delivers his often-charged and thought provoking spoken word
performances. By offering a wide range of subject matter in his work, Marc
has been able to cover a lot of ground within his craft.

PITTERSHAWN PALMER Pittershawn Palmer is a
published freelance writer, journalist, speechwriter,
copywriter and copyeditor. She made her mark in journalism by conducting
flawless research and masterful interviews. Pittershawn earned her B.A. in
English from Iona College where she graduated with honors, and was inducted
into Sigma Tau Delta, the International English Honor Society. She is
currently completing her Masters in Journalism and will soon begin studies
towards an M.F.A. in Writing.
Pittershawn enjoys reading, playing piano, traveling, singing, graphic arts
designing, and skating. She has published a book of poetry, Words…Loving
Emotions; a
short story through Amazon, The Letters and is working on her first

MAURICE BROADDUS
Maurice
Broaddus graduated in 1993 from Indiana University-Purdue University at
Indianapolis and holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Biology (with an
undeclared major in English). He works as an environmental toxicologist for
a local firm, Commonwealth Biomonitoring. He comes from a family that
includes several practicing obeah (think: Jamaican voodoo) people, but is
now the facilitator for the church, The Dwelling Place.
Obviously his areas of interests includes religious
studies, folklore, and myths. It should be noted that he only wants to get
famous enough to be able to snub people at horror conventions. To that end,
he has already started to practice referring to myself in the third person.

CHARISSE CARNEY-NUNES Charisse
Carney-Nunes, freelance writer and attorney, is the author of the
children’s book, NAPPY (Brand Nu Words 2006) and of SONGS OF A SISTERMOM:
MOTHERHOOD POEMS (Brand Nu Words 2004). Charisse is the founder of Brand Nu
Words, a company dedicated to publishing uniquely artistic books and related

Ray is a native Texan and lives in Dallas. A graduate of Texas Woman's
University, she is a School Nurse Practitioner with the Dallas Independent
School District. In 1999 and 2000 she was nominated for Texas Woman's
University Distinguished Alumni Award.
Ms. Ray's titles consistently make bestseller's lists such as Blackboard and
Essence Magazine.. INCOGNITO, her sixth title, was the first made-for-TV
movie for BET. She has written thirty-one titles to date. Awards include
