Linda Leigh Hargove writes inspirational fiction. Her debut novel,
The Making of Isaac Hunt, is a story of
adoption, racial reconciliation, and new faith. For 10 years Linda co-led racial
reconciliation discussion groups and conducted panels on racism in the church.
She writes out a desire to both educate and entertain.
The former environmental engineer currently resides in North Carolina with her
husband and three sons where she occasionally designs a web site.

publisher, holds a Bachelors Degree in Communications and Human Relations
and a Masters Degree in Social Work with a concentration in clinical
administration. David has authored several published articles relating to

Technical Writer, she is a former Network Administrator.
She has always had two loves in her life writing and

She's decided to take the time to put her work into
print. This is her first novel, but she plans to put one into print every

ROSLYN HARDY HOLCOMB Roslyn
Hardy Holcomb was born and reared in North Alabama and has
had a disparate career and varied interests. Born on the
cusp of the Civil Rights Movement, she grew up and married
interracially six years ago.
Many of the themes that abound in her first novel,
Rock Star, particularly the taboos against romantic relationships
between black women and white men, are issues she and her husband confront
routinely.

MARSHA D.
JENKINS-SANDERS
Marsha D. Jenkins-Sanders is a writer of
novels and songs. She received acclaim in the music
industry for lyrics written for Keith Washington’s
freshmen album project, Make Time for Love. Both “Kissing
You” and “Closer” introduced her writing talent and she
received award-winning recognition from ASCAP for Writer
and Publisher in the R & B genre.
Her crossover into the literary field
began when she decided to transform personal writings from
her defunct marriage to Keith into a fictional
contemporary romance novel. In 2005 she completed The
Other Side of Through which will be released in March
2007. Jealousy: A Strange Company Keeper will
follow in 2008.

CARLA SARRATT
Carla Sarratt was born in Cleveland, Ohio and fell in love with books in
elementary school. Books were her constant companion, then and now. The
first time she created a story was in the sixth grade for her language arts
class. From there, she would write for her junior high school and high
school newspapers as well as the Black student literary magazine at her
college, Wittenberg University.
A former high school English teacher, Carla took her experiences as a
teacher and student to craft her first novel, Freshman Focus.

MIRANDA
IFEDIGBO
Miranda Ifedigbo is the youngest daughter from a
close-knit family of five children and grew up in a small
town in Pennsylvania. Both she and her siblings grew up in
the Pentecostal church singing and playing various
instruments and were heartily encouraged by both of her
parents to excel in that area. Her love for music grew and
flourished over the course of many years. And, as a
result, her novel combines both her writing and musical
talents. To her readers Miranda promises, “My book
Sexual Transgressions: A Chain of Events and the music
that goes with it are just the beginning. I am looking
forward with great anticipation to what comes next. I know
that there are more books and music to come and much more
that I will be sharing with you.”

SHELIA E. LIPSEY Christian
Novelist, Shelia E. Lipsey, is a native Tennessean, residing in
the city of Memphis. She attended Belhaven College in Jackson,
Mississippi, graduating magna cum laude with a BBA degree. Lipsey, a
published author and inspirational speaker has been actively writing and
speaking most of her life. Prior to being noticed by Kensington/Urban
Christian, she self-published a fictional title, Always Now and
Forever, about love, loss, and grief. Then just two years later, she
followed up with a nonfiction book, A Christian’s Perspective—A
Journey Through Grief, which enlightens and encourages grieving
hearts.
She is one of the first authors to be signed to the new line of Urban
Books LLC (Kensington/Urban Christian). Her premiere novel under the
imprint, Into Each Life, was released January 2007 and her second
novel, Sinsatiable, will be released by August 2007.

CHERLYN MICHAELS Cherlyn
Michaels originally self-published Counting Raindrops through a
Stained Glass Window in January 2004 and it was re-released through
Hyperion Books in September, 2005. She was a 2003 Shades of Romance
Magazine Best New Multicultural Author of the Year and nominated for the
African American Literary Awards Show Open Book Award for Best
Self-Published Author of the Year for 2004. Her current release,
First Fridays, is her second novel.
Michaels is a board member of
StudioSTL. This
non-profit organization is dedicated to supporting students ages 8-18
with their creative and expository writing skills, and to helping
teachers inspire their students to write. Cherlyn is also a member of
Delta Sigma
Theta Sorority, Inc. and the
#1 Stunnas
Motorsports Club. She currently resides in St. Louis, Missouri and
is currently working on her third novel.
